How It Works

A Season Built
for the Off-Season

The Fenworks Golf Sim League is a seven-week competitive season designed to keep student golfers competing through winter. Students play on their own schedule each week, with no fixed match times or travel required. Fenworks handles officiating, standings, and league support from start to finish, with the season ending at the Hybrid Regional Finals.

Play a Round

Each week, every player completes one 18-hole round on a compatible simulator at school or a local partner facility.

Scores Auto-Submit

The moment a round finishes, scores post automatically to the live leaderboard through the tournament software.

Earn Points

Points are awarded each week based on leaderboard position. Standings update in real time.

Compete for a Spot at the Hybrid Regional Finals

The season builds toward the Hybrid Regional Finals, where top competitors face off to close out the year.

What Schools Ask First

Schools have a couple of different paths to choose from, and we'll talk through both with you so you can make the right call for your school size and budget.

Option 1 — Build your own simulator space

Building your own bay offers great flexibility, and our team can help you spec out a build that fits your specific room. You can start with a launch monitor like the Garmin Approach R10 for around $600. A complete competition-ready station typically ranges from $1,500 for a starter kit to $5,000 or more for a full enclosure.

Option 2 — Use a local partner simulator

If a local golf facility, sports complex, or college has a compatible simulator, students can complete their weekly rounds there.

State athletics organizations (including MSHSL, SDHSAA, NDHSAA, and WIAA) restrict the same coach from coaching both the official varsity golf season and the simulator golf league in the same year for the same gender.

How this works for the Fenworks league

The league is built to be captain-led: students run their own weekly play and enter their own scores, with no active coaching required. This setup allows your school to stay compliant through a few different staffing models.
