Our Esports Development Clinics are a focused, hands-on gathering where educators explore how competitive gaming can enrich academics. In one packed day of panels and workshops, attendees learn to start or strengthen high-school esports programs, from budgeting and equipment to curriculum-aligned skill building. Veteran coaches showcase engaging practice plans around Fenworks titles, and structured networking helps teachers swap resources and forge partnerships. Everyone leaves with new contacts and a clear action plan for esports success.

All times are in Central Time

  • 9:00 am – 9:30 am: Check-In
  • 9:30 am – 10:20 am: Large Group Session | Welcome and State of ND Esports + Panel
  • 10:30 am – 11:20 am: Breakout Session 1
  • 11:30 am – 12:20 pm: Breakout Session 2
  • 12:20 pm – 1:00 pm: Lunch
  • 1:00 pm – 1:30 pm: Large Group Session | Esports Facility Building: Hardware for Gaming and Streaming
  • 1:30 pm – 2:00 pm: Large Group Session | Fenworks Supplemental Services
  • 2:00 pm – 2:50 pm: Breakout Session 3
  • 3:00 pm – 3:50 pm: Breakout Session 4
  • 4:00 pm – 4:15 pm: End-of-Day Announcements
  • 4:15 pm – 6:30 pm: Event Social: Speedway 805 Grill & Bar | 805 N 42nd St, Grand Forks, ND 58203

There will also be a social on Tuesday, August 5, from 6:30 pm – 8:30 pm at Speedway 805 Grill & Bar | 805 N 42nd St, Grand Forks, ND 58203.

The Esports Development Clinic will be held at The University of North Dakota’s Memorial Union in Grand Forks, ND. Attendees will have free parking in the parking garage. Registration will be on the third floor of the Memorial Union outside of Room 318.

All attendees will be responsible for their own meals and hotel. There are no hotel blocks. Here is a list of hotels in the area.
